‘Say it with Dead Flowers at mah weah-din’…..’

The ‘Stones at their decadent, blackheartedly cynical best/worst.

This came out with the deluxe version of ‘Sticky Fingers’ last year and knocks the socks off the version which made it to the album.

It’s live in the studio and the band has that combo of loucheness and tight playing they mastered in this period.

Both the guitars, plus Wyman’s bass, are streets ahead of the released version (and I like the released version, too): Charlie’s good tonigh’, as he always is, and Jagger’s vocal isn’t a drawling country parody.
